Overview
Backend development on TrackTik Cloud, an enterprise workforce-management platform used by security companies worldwide for guard scheduling, field reporting, and incident management — on a large, long-running Yii 1.1 codebase progressively bridged with Symfony components.
Beyond the core platform, TrackForce runs a number of supporting microservices around it. My work touched several of these alongside the main application: PDF report generation, geofencing and geolocation processing for field workforce tracking, and transactional mail delivery (SMTP). This engagement ended in early 2026 alongside my departure from Ritech.
Highlights
- Feature development and bug fixes across a large, long-running enterprise codebase (Yii 1.1 legacy, incrementally modernized with Symfony components).
- Contributed to auxiliary microservices: PDF report generation, geofencing/geolocation processing, and the transactional mail (SMTP) service.
- Collaborated with a global engineering team on scheduling, reporting, and field-operations tooling used by security companies at scale.
